Lara Tureli

I joined the lab in winter 2025. Working with my bench-mentor, postdoctoral fellow JungMin Kim, I am interested in subcellular molecular mechanisms of developing and diseased neurons. I am refining a flexible system to manipulate RNAs and proteins specifically localized and potentially distinctly functioning in distinct subcellular compartments of cortical neurons in mice.
